ELLEN COHEN, J.D., CPCC, PCC is an executive, life, career and wellbeing coach with over 10 years’ experience, certified by both CTI (CPCC) and International Coach Federation (PCC) who works with senior executives, lawyers, high performers and high potentials across industries to enhance their professional impact, build high performance and leadership skills, and cultivate wellbeing and resiliency. She incorporates scientific/neuroscience-based coaching, emotional intelligence skills and wellbeing modalities as powerful tools to enhance leadership, build resiliency and improve ROI in the workplace.
Ellen is an enhanced practitioner in Conversational Intelligence (CIQ) which is about the neuroscience of communication and how our interactions impact our neurochemistry. Additionally, she has studied the neuroscience of stress and its impact on performance, leadership, team building, and interpersonal relationships and her programs incorporate this knowledge. A result, she has many resources to offer her clients to deepen their own knowledge, develop new skills and explore new behaviors and habits both within their professional and personal lives.
Ellen brings over 20 years’ experience as an entertainment attorney, business affairs attorney, senior executive and manager of employees negotiating high level talent and business deals in film, TV and digital for major studios including Disney, Sony, Fox, Microsoft and Showtime. Her clients appreciate is that she relate to their experiences as leaders, that she understands the dynamics of corporate culture, what it’s like to work with difficult bosses/colleagues and the challenge of delivering excellence with the pressures and dynamics of the corporate world, Additionally, she has a particular expertise in working with corporate executives, business affairs and legal departments to help them and their team become better partners to the business units, build relationships across different internal functions and enhance their ability to be influential, develop a meaning brand and mission statement and cultivate powerful relationships.
She obtained a double B.A. in Philosophy and French Literature & Language from Brandeis University and her J.D. from Emory University School of Law. Ellen is also a certified yoga and meditation teacher and uses this knowledge as part of her stress management programs.
